About Niva Market Watch

Track Indian IPOs, GMP, subscription, allotment and listing dates in one place.

Niva Market Watch is an independent website about initial public offerings (IPOs) in India. We collect issue details, subscription figures, grey market premium (GMP) quotes and allotment and listing dates into one place, add plain-language context, and publish guides that explain how the IPO process works.

What you can find here

  • IPO pages for mainboard and SME issues on NSE and BSE: price band, lot size, issue size and structure, timeline, subscription, offer-document links and a written overview built from those facts.
  • Subscription tracker with overall and category-wise multiples and the date of each figure.
  • GMP tracker showing the latest unofficial grey market quote we recorded, always labelled as unofficial.
  • Allotment dates and registrar details, with guidance on checking your own status.
  • IPO calendar and dashboard with year-to-date counts.
  • IPO guides covering offer documents, applying with UPI/ASBA, subscription, allotment, refunds, listing day and GMP.
  • News and weekly roundups; roundups are generated from our database and labelled as automated.

Where the data comes from

Issue details come mainly from the public-issue data published by NSE and BSE, with gaps filled from Chittorgarh and InvestorGain. Subscription multiples and GMP quotes are collected from InvestorGain's public reports (third-party, not official exchange figures); allotment-related dates come from Chittorgarh's allotment calendar. Offer documents (RHP/DRHP) are linked where available. The data methodology page explains each source, how often it is refreshed and how official and unofficial figures differ.

Principles we follow

  • Facts, not tips. We describe issues; we do not tell anyone to apply, buy, sell or avoid.
  • Label what is unofficial. GMP is never presented as an exchange figure or a listing-price forecast.
  • Show the date. Data pages show when figures were last updated and where they came from.
  • Leave gaps visible. If a value is missing we show “—” or omit the sentence rather than estimate it.
  • Correct openly. Reported errors are compared with primary sources and corrected where confirmed; see the corrections policy.
